WASHINGTON– Wilkinson Stekloff today announced that Julie Rubenstein has been promoted to Counsel effective January 1, 2019.
Since joining Wilkinson Stekloff as an associate, Rubenstein has used her breadth of experience representing corporate and individual clients to secure major victories for Wilkinson Stekloff’s clients. Rubenstein most recently helped the NCAA obtain a defense jury verdict in a month-long defamation trial in Todd McNair v. NCAA. She led oral arguments on several key issues, including jury instructions, and she successfully defended against Plaintiff’s motion to compel. Her promotion is a testament to the firm’s investment in its next generation of leading attorneys and its emphasis on getting those attorneys into the courtroom.
“Wilkinson Stekloff is a powerhouse firm because all attorneys – associates, counsel, and partners – are encouraged and empowered to contribute meaningfully to all aspects of our trial work,”said Ms. Rubenstein. “I am honored to work at a firm that shares the same values and goals for building a law practice rooted in delivering unparalleled results for our clients.”
An experienced trial litigator, Rubenstein’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including intellectual property, defamation, breach of contract, securities fraud, antitrust, products liability, and class action cases. She represents both individual and corporate clients in federal and state courts and before government agencies. Before joining Wilkinson Stekloff, Julie practiced at Baker Botts LLP.
“Julie’s valuable contributions have helped to secure important victories for our clients,” said founding partner Sean Eskovitz. “She is an exceptionally talented attorney with a breadth of litigation and trial experience. We are fortunate to have her join our Counsel team.”
Wilkinson Stekloff has amassed a remarkable bench of young talent in just under three years. Since its inception in 2016, Wilkinson Stekloff has grown to over 45 lawyers and has quickly established itself as the leading boutique trial firm in the country. Julie is the firm’s fourth Counsel.
