
Sarah Lee Best
Sarah was an Associate at Wilkinson Stekloff. Before joining the firm, Sarah clerked for Judge Eugene E. Siler, Jr., on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Judge Paul S. Diamond on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Judge John P. Cronan on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Sarah attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. During law school, she served on the board of her school’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, interned for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the General Counsel, completed an externship with the Education Law Center, and was a member of the Transnational Legal Clinic, where she represented clients seeking asylum. Through her school’s Federal Appellate Litigation Externship, Sarah also represented an incarcerated litigant and argued his case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, ultimately securing vacatur of the district court judgment.
Before law school, Sarah taught high school math and worked as an instructional coach in Tennessee. She received her B.A. summa cum laude with a double major in Neuroscience and Classical Languages from Vanderbilt University.
