Associate

Shireen is an Associate at Wilkinson Stekloff. Before joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable DeAndrea Gist Benjamin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Shireen attended Boston University School of Law, where she was the Senior Note Development Editor of the Boston University Law Review and recipient of the Sylvia Beinecke Robinson Award for significant contributions to the life of the School of Law. During law school, Shireen won Best Brief in the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition and finished as a national semifinalist in the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition, after which the ABA selected her to represent the United States in the International Negotiation Competition for Law Students. She also served as president of the Middle Eastern and South Asian Law Students Association, co-chief director of the Negotiation and Client Counseling Competitions, a research assistant for Professor Keith N. Hylton, a judicial extern for Justice Dalila Argaez Wendlandt on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and a student attorney with the BU Defender Clinic.

Before law school, Shireen was a middle school English teacher and grade level chair with Teach For America Miami-Dade. She received her B.A. from the College of William & Mary.
