Wilkinson Stekloff Honored as ‘Highly Commended’ for Annual Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chambers and Partners selected Wilkinson Stekloff as Highly Commended for Diversity and Inclusion at its annual Diversity and Inclusion Awards: North America 2021.  The firm is one of two nationwide, large and small, singled out for success in diversity and inclusion.

Chambers shortlisted Wilkinson Stekloff in 2020 as an outstanding firm for diversity and inclusion, but gave it an even higher honor this year.  In highlighting Wilkinson Stekloff, Chambers took note of client commentary that the firm’s commitment “is borne out in the diversity of lawyers from top to bottom,” who are all “active participants in developing and executing our legal strategy.”

“We couldn’t be prouder to receive this award, given that the firm was founded to develop and promote the next generation of diverse trial lawyers,” said Founding Partner Beth Wilkinson. “While there is still much more work to be done, we will continue to move the needle forward, and we are truly pleased to be recognized by Chambers during a time when diversity, equity and inclusion are top of mind for organizations of all industries and sectors.”

Wilkinson Stekloff was founded on a commitment to developing the next generation of trial lawyers with a comprehensive focus on diversity and inclusion.  Women or attorneys of color have played meaningful, stand-up roles on each of our trial teams, including in over twenty trials that have gone to decision. These practices underscore the firm’s strong interest in diversity of all forms, including promoting women, people of color and members of the LGBTQ community.

Founded in February 2016, Wilkinson Stekloff has grown to nearly 40 lawyers and has quickly established itself as the leading trial boutique firm in the country. The firm has tried over a dozen cases to verdict across the country, winning the vast majority, and has won several other pre-trial victories in bet-the-company cases.
