Wilkinson Stekloff Recognized in Several Categories for Latest Rankings by Chambers and Partners

Washington, D.C.Chambers and Partners, an independent research company that ranks the nation’s top law firms, highlighted Wilkinson Stekloff as the top litigation boutique in DC and as a products liability powerhouse.  Chambers also recognized the firm’s two name partners, Beth Wilkinson and Brian Stekloff, for their excellence.

Chambers utilizes a tiered “band” system to recognize firms. Wilkinson Stekloff was honored within Band 3 for “Products Liability and Mass Torts Nationwide” (the only DC boutique firm recognized) and within Band 3 for “Litigation: General Commercial: The Elite in DC” (one of just two DC boutiques recognized).  Chambers described the firm as an “impressive litigation boutique, noted for its expert handling of complex, bet-the-company cases for leading corporate clients across a wide range of sectors,” particularly in pharmaceutical, antitrust, trade secrets, and consumer class action cases.  Commentators described lauded Wilkinson Stekloff’s “fantastic trial lawyers,” calling it a “fabulous firm” with “a deep bench and very smart attorneys.”

Chambers continued to recognize Beth Wilkinson as the preeminent trial lawyer in DC, naming her a star trial lawyer in its global rankings, as well as a star trial lawyer nationwide, in DC, and in products liability and mass torts.  Commentators highlighted Beth as “the best trial lawyer there is,” a “superstar,” and “a lion at the Bar,” noting her “supreme advocacy” and “unparalleled expertise acting as lead trial counsel.”

In addition, Brian Stekloff continued his ascent in the rankings, moving from an up and coming lawyer to Band 6 for Products Liability nationwide.  Commentators praised Brian as a lawyer who “has good judgment” and is “very, very bright and effective on his feet.”

“It’s an honor to continued to be recognized as a leading boutique by Chambers and Partners, and to have our Founding Partners receive such well-deserved recognition,” said partner Kosta Stojilkovic. “We look forward to continue to develop top-notch representation to our clients efficiently, effectively and most important of all, with integrity.”

Beyond these rankings, Chambers has also lauded other aspects of Wilkinson Stekloff’s practice.  The firm has been shortlisted as an outstanding firm for diversity and inclusion for two years in a row at Chambers’ annual Diversity and Inclusion Awards, and was Highly Commended for in the Pro Bono Program of the Year Category in 2020. The group considers a variety of factors when determining its annual rankings, from conducting a thorough review of client services to contacting previous clients about diligence and delivery.

Founded in February 2016, Wilkinson Stekloff has grown to nearly 40 lawyers and has quickly established itself as the leading trial boutique firm in the country. The firm has tried over a dozen cases to verdict across the country, winning the vast majority, and has won several other pre-trial victories in bet-the-company cases.
