Wilkinson Stekloff’s Kosta Stojilkovic Appointed to the Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure of the United States

WASHINGTON — Wilkinson Stekloff Partner Kosta Stojilkovic was appointed by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. to a three-year term on the Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure. The “Standing Committee,” as it is commonly known, reviews, drafts, and recommends new rules governing practice and procedure in federal courts. Five advisory committees supplement the Standing Committee and propose changes to appellate, bankruptcy, civil, criminal, and evidence rules.

“I am deeply honored to be appointed by the Chief Justice to the Standing Committee,” said Stojilkovic. “I look forward to learning from and working with the Committee’s distinguished members to help ensure that the federal rules remain rooted in efficiency and fairness.”

Stojilkovic began his legal career by clerking for Chief Justice Roberts on the Supreme Court of the United States and the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
